Past and Future Beers
This page shows past and future beers we have had or will have.
Coming up next
The following beers we hope to have available soon
Dowbridge - Fosse Ale
Amber & Bitter
Attractive bronze/copper colour. Distinct caramel notes in the aroma. More malty than hoppy and bitter on the palate but the balance comes off nicely. Plenty of flavour and presence.
Empire Brewing - Strikes Back
Golden & Fruity
First beer brewed, appropriately titled to commemorate the reopening. A pale golden bitter with a hoppy aroma and good hop and malt balance, with a fruity citrusy flavour. Very light on the palate and a good session beer.
Hung, Drawn ‘n’ Portered
Dark & Malty
SIBA Wales and West Gold Medal Winner
Strong, dark treacle coloured porter, with Bramling Cross hops and a malty finish
An ale that harks back to 18th century London. Descended from brown beer, porter is a well hopped beer made from dark roasted malt. The name came about as a result of its popularity with street and river porters.
Old ones we've had
The following beers are ones we have had but have no immediate plans to bring back just yet. Don't forget you can vote on all these beers and which will help us decide which ones to bring back
Bude - Porthbud Pale Ale
Golden & Hoppy
This 4.0% ABV ale has a beautiful light colour, a wonderful passion fruit aroma and tantalising hoppy after taste. We combined Cascade with Pioneer and dry hopped Porthbud to give it a bold flavour that leaves you wanting more.
Cottage Brewing - Texas Raiders
Brown & Malty
Deep Mahogany, Bitter Malts with a Roasted Burnt Finish
Golden & Hoppy
Crafted from Citra and Chinook hops to produce an intensely hoppy and refreshing Golden beer. The use of amber malt gives the beer an attractive richness with oodles of strong citrus and lovely tropical tones. A real “Hop Heads” beer.
Pale & Fruity
A pleasant ale with a hint of orange.
